Comments and eNotices

Comments and eNotices allow users to communicate information about the process in a centralized location. Comments are used to add notes to Tasks or to the Workflow, where eNotices are used to send emails to other users.

To access Task Comments and eNotices, click the envelope icon on that Task. If there are existing Comments or eNotices, a badge with the number of items will appear on the icon. This will expand the Comments/eNotices section. Existing Comments and eNotices will be displayed here. To respond to an existing Comment or eNotice, enter the response into the text area and click the Reply button. In the case of an eNotice, the text of the response will be emailed to all users in that email chain.

To add a new Comment or eNotice click the corresponding add Comment or eNotice buttons. This will create a new item where the subject and body can be entered. In the case of an eNotice, email addresses can be entered in the To and Cc fields. The content of the eNotice will be emailed to those addresses. Clicking the To or Cc buttons will open the address book which can be used to find the email address of other users. Click Save to complete the Comment or send the eNotice.

In addition, a new eNotice to be sent from a workflow or a workflow task includes a link that enables recipients to access the item in the customer record. No extra setup is required to use this feature, which functions in a manner similar to the linking that exists in eNotices from other Lending Cloud areas.
