On the Creditors screen,
you can create a list of creditors in your area that may have a relationship
with your customers. This is a powerful feature that greatly enhances
your data mining capabilities.
The
amount of information that is shown here is dictated by these radio
buttons in the top-right corner. It is defaulted to "Summary"
however choosing the "Detail" radio button simply extends
the section to the right to include additional input fields.
Enter all applicable information for each new creditor into the input fields.
Note When establishing
default values in Lending Cloud, avoid including punctuation in ID, abbreviation,
title, and name fields. For example,
on the Creditors screen, do not include punctuation in the Name, Abrv.,
and ID fields. The use of punctuation (quotation marks, apostrophes, etc.)
can result in Lending Cloud acting unexpectedly.
It is important to
put your organization in as one of the creditors and click the Ours? check box. Do not activate
this Ours? check box
for any other creditors.
Choose the creditor
type from this drop list (you do not control the contents of this
drop list).
The ID
field can be anything you want. Suggestion:
Use the creditor's seven-digit routing number or group like creditors
with the same ID for data mining purposes later.
Click the "Add"
link once you have entered all the information. Doing so places the
creditor information in the list.
Clicking on the radio
buttons in the Print on Report
Footer column provides your users the option to have a
lender name other than the one marked as Ours?
print on reports.
Click on the Edit link to modify any creditor
information as needed.
