Defaults
Only authorized system administrators should access the Defaults section.
The Lending Cloud Defaults system is designed to accommodate every size
of lending institution, from community banks with a single location to
the largest lenders in the industry. The defaults system contains paths
of least resistance to aid in the set up of Lending Cloud to meet your
institution's needs. To ensure that you take advantage of available paths
of least resistance, Moody's Analytics highly recommends that you contact
Lending Cloud
Support for assistance in setting up your defaults.
Excluding Punctuation from ID, Abbreviation, Title, and Name Fields
When establishing default values in Lending Cloud, avoid including punctuation in ID, abbreviation, title, and name fields. The use of punctuation (quotation marks, apostrophes, etc.) can result in Lending Cloud acting unexpectedly.
For example, in the Creditors feature, do not include punctuation in the Name, Abrv., and ID fields.
You access the Defaults section from the main Lending Cloud menu. Select Defaults to display the Defaults menu.
To familiarize yourself with the Defaults system, click through the various
menu items. Following is an example of options in the System Administration
> Users area.
