Accessing Schedules

Throughout the balance sheet and income/expense sections of the program you will see chart of account items that are hypertext links. This means you can click on them to access their supporting schedules. Different items require different information but the program functionality remains the same throughout Lending Cloud. Below are some features to be aware of when working in schedules.

Chart of Account Schedules

The information you can enter here is pretty straightforward. Below is a simplified overview of accessing chart of account schedules in the balance sheet and income/expense summary sections.

Step 1: Click on the hypertext link for the desired balance sheet item.

Step 2: Enter all applicable information here and click the Add button on the right.

Additional information can be added to this item by clicking on a Detail radio button.  It provides you the ability to enter the information that is calculated for the "Value / Adj. Value / Cost Basis" settings you chose in your primary/secondary balance sheet columns on the summary screen.

Step 3: When you click on the Add button in Step 2, the item(s) display in a list below it. To save changes and continue adding items, click the Save & Stay button. To return to the balance sheet summary screen, click the Save & Back button.

Step 4: When you return to the balance sheet summary screen you will see that the numeric input field is gone. From now on you must click on that chart of account link to add/modify/delete the information for that item.

Crop NAICS Schedules

Livestock NAICS Schedules

The information you can enter here is pretty straightforward. Click here for an abbreviations legend.

If the NAICS item you want is not in this drop list you can have your system administrator add it in the defaults or you can add it yourself -- for this customer record only -- by clicking on the Description (NAICS) link above the drop list. This link is available on all crop and livestock product schedules and is described below. There are radio buttons for Summary or Detail views in all crop and livestock schedules. Activating the "Detail" view displays some additional data entry fields for your use.

Use the Description (NAICS) link to "add/modify/delete" NAICS items as needed. Clicking on this link will display a page like the sample shown below. Here you can choose an NAICS item, enter any additional description for this item in the Type input field and apply a measurement to the item. In the case below, it is a crop NAICS screen, so you would enter the projected yield and projected dollars per unit and click the Add link to place the new NAICS item in the list. If an item you want is not in the drop list you can click on the Copy Location NAICS to Client NAICS link in the top-left corner of the screen. Any dimmed check boxes cannot be deleted from the list.

Clicking on the Copy Location NAICS to Client NAICS link displays the dialog box where you can choose to add any additional NAICS items from a location other than your own and that you have been given access rights to. Simply activate the check box next to the items you want to copy and click the Copy link. You can speed up the activation process by using the Check All | Uncheck All links in the top-center of the dialog box. Click on the Customer NAICS link to return to the Customer NAICS box.

The other useful feature on both the crop and livestock schedules is the Yield & Per Unit Defaults link. Click this link will open the Copy Yield & Per Unit From Default NAICS dialog box. Select the applicable check boxes and click the Copy Now link at the bottom of the dialog box to copy this default information to the Customer NAICS Crop page.

This "copy defaults" functionality is also available on all livestock schedules displayed as Per Unit Defaults. Different schedules have different categories and to save screen real estate we have to use a lot of abbreviations. Click on the following links to view the legends for these abbreviations.
