The order listed here corresponds with the data entry fields that run left-to-right in the schedule.

Type:

This optional field allows you to enhance the description of the livestock you are adding to the schedule from the Add New drop list (Example: Cattle-Steers).

# Head:

Abbreviation for the "number of head" for this livestock.

Weight:

Enter the average weight per head here.

$/Unit:

Abbreviation for "dollars per unit" which is determined by you based upon existing market pricing.

Calc Basis:

Use this drop list to indicate how you want this livestock calculated (Dollars Per Pound, Dollars Per Head, Total Dollars, Dollars Per Kilogram).

$ Value:

The system will automatically calculate this value for you if you chose Dollars Per Pound, Dollars Per Head, or Dollars Per Kilogram from the previous drop list. If you chose Total Dollars, this will become an input field where you will manually enter the desired value.

+/-:

This field only appears if you selected the Detail button. Use this field to adjust the total dollar value for this livestock.

Adj. Value:

If you have the +/- or # Unit Adj. button selected, the calculates this column for you based upon the data you entered in the previous fields. If you have the Adj. Value button active, this column becomes a data entry field where you type the desire data. Note: These radio buttons appear when you select the Detail button.

Cost Basis:

This field only displays when you activate the "Detail" radio button.

Proj. I/E?:

Use this drop list to indicate if you want this data to be included in the projected income/expense section of the system.

The Breed, Color, Age, Brand fields are self explanatory.
