All Unassigned

This list contains all unassigned tasks in the system.

Use the Unassigned Tasks screen to find any tasks that need to be completed but have not been assigned to a user. See Workflow and Task List Searches for more information about searching for workflows and tasks, and viewing, organizing, and exporting search results.

Tasks can be claimed or assigned directly from the screen. To claim a task, click the Claim button in the Claim column. After you claim a task, it is included in your My Tasks list.

The Start Date field provides a visual distinction between actual start dates and projected start dates.

Actual start dates appear as black text, which indicates that the task is active and work can proceed. These dates appear in the list when you select All or Active in the Status field of the Search Filter.

Projected start dates appear as gray text, which indicates that the task is not yet active. In such cases, the activation date is a future date or there is a dependency that must be met before work on the task can proceed. These dates appear in the list when you select All or Upcoming in the Status field of the Search Filter.
