FSA Guaranteed Loan

Selecting this check box indicates that the loan is an FSA guaranteed loan and displays additional fields for entering FSA loan information.

FSA Number

The FSA identifier of the loan.

Loan Type

The type of FSA loan. Select one of the following:

•     CL—Conservation Loan

•     FO—Farm Ownership Loan

•     OL—Operating Loan

•     OL/LOC—Operating Loan/Line of Credit

% Guaranteed

The percentage of the loan that is guaranteed by the Farm Service Agency (FSA).

Is Loan Fully Advanced?

The option indicating whether the full amount of the FSA loan has been paid to the borrower.

Subsequent Loan in same Operating Cycle?

This check box only appears for new FSA loans and indicates whether there is another loan to the same borrower in the same time frame as this loan.

Collateral

This area only appears for new FSA loans and enables you to enter collateral for the loan. Enter information for an item of collateral in the following fields and click Add:

•     Description—The description of the collateral.

•     Lien Pos.—User-defined text representing the lien creditor’s priority to benefit from any liquidation of the collateral.    

•     Prior Lien—The amount of a claim on this collateral by another debtor.

•     Value—The amount of the collateral’s value.

The Coll. Value field displays the amount of the collateral’s value less any prior lien amount.

Note  Delete items of collateral by selecting the check box to the left of an item and clicking .
