Census Tract

The geographic region defined for the purpose of taking a census.

CRA

The indicator designating whether the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) applies to the loan.

Note  The CRA is a federal law requiring periodic review of federally insured lenders to help meet the needs of borrowers, including low-and moderate-income neighborhoods.

HMDA

The indicator designating whether the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting applies to loan.

Note  HMDA regulations require mortgage lenders to report specific information about commercial loan applications for residential structures.
