Creating Workflows Custom Forms

Take the following steps to add a Custom Form.

  1. Select Defaults > Workflow/Ticklers > General Settings > Custom Form Creation

  1. On the Custom Forms screen, click the Add New button.

  1. In the Description field, enter the name for the Customer Form template, and then click the Setup link.

  1. Setup each field by entering a Description/Title, selecting a Type for the field, and entering the Column selection and Order number to determine placement. If it is desired to require that the field has data entered before the task it is associated with is completed, click the Required check box to the right of the row.

  2. Click the Add button to include the item in the form setup and view in the Preview area.

Below are the available Custom Form item types to choose from:

Item Type

Description

Date

A Date field can be added for the users to enter a date. The calendar icon can also be used to select a date.

  Number

A Number field can be added to allow the users to enter dollar amounts, loan numbers, etc.

Percent

Percent fields can be added to allow the users to enter a percentage amount.

Checkbox

Checkbox field can be added to allow the users to include items to be check marked.

Yes/No/NA

Radio buttons can be added to be used as indicators of Yes, No, or NA.

Read Only Lookup

After adding the Read Only Lookup type with a custom title, click the Setup link to display the Setup Additional Information screen.

Click the Add New button to add in the custom read only fields.

Link

After adding the Link type with a custom title, click the Setup link.

Enter the URL for the website to create a link within the form.

Read Only Text

After adding the Read only text type with a custom title, click on Setup link  to display the Setup Additional Information Text screen.

Enter the text in the box to display as read only on the form.
