Activating Pre-caching for Data Mgr Queries

Data Mgr provides you with the option to pre-cache certain queries to generate data for their related reports.

Note  Pre-caching impacts overall Data Mgr processing and is intended only for complex queries that take an excessive amount of time to finish. Results will vary based on your institution's database and the query being used. If you want to use pre-caching, Moody's Analytics recommends that you work with Lending Cloud Support to select queries and monitor the impacts and benefits of this option.

After you complete the following steps, the Pre Run Report check box appears near the lower-right corner of the query manager page. The Pre Run Report check box enables users to select queries to be pre-cached. Once users pre-cache a query, the nightly Data Mgr upload will first upload all appropriate data for your financial institution and then will pre-cache the report.  

To activate the pre-cache query option

1.  From the Lending Cloud menu, select Defaults > System Administration > Functionality Groups.

2.  From the Functionality Groups list, select the applicable functionality group.

3.  From the Locator Menu / Page Access list, select Portfolio Management.

4.  Scroll to Portfolio Management > DataMgr > Pre-cache Query.

5.  Select the Portfolio Management > DataMgr > Pre-cache Query check box.

6.  Click the Save & Stay or the Save & Back button.
