Importing Businesses as Guarantors

You can import a business that is a guarantor on a MARQ™ portal customer record when importing a new customer, or updating an existing customer record. You begin the process for importing guarantors that are a business from step 2 of the import wizard.

To import business guarantors

 Take the following steps to import a business that is a guarantor:

1. Select the check box for each business guarantor that you want to import.

2. If needed, select the proper option from the Entity Type, General Information Model, and Entity General Information Model drop-down lists.

3. Click step 5 on the import wizard.
   
   The Import Documents page appears. The selected business guarantors appear under the Related Entities heading.
   
   

4. Click the Save button.
   
   The system imports the selected business guarantors. Lending Cloud creates a stand-alone customer record for each business guarantor. The record contains general information for the guarantor.
   
   

You access stand-alone guarantor records from the customer record for the business in Lending Cloud. Instructions for accessing guarantor records appear under To access customer records for related entities/guarantors in the Creating Customer Records for Related Entities/Guarantors section.
