Adding Customers from the MARQ Repository
1. On the Locator screen, click Add Customer.
2. On the New Customer Setup screen, click <Search MARQ Repository>.
Note The text of the <Search MARQ Repository> button is set by your system administrator.
3. On the Search MARQ Repository screen, enter the name of the desired company that is in the MARQ repository.
Tip You can enter a portion of the company name to display multiple results, or the percent symbol (%) to display all companies in the MARQ repository.
4. Click Search.
5. In the Search Results section, in the Action column, click Add Customer.
See Adding a New Customer for information about completing the customer setup. The following considerations apply when adding customers from the MARQ repository:
Select a general information model that has been created by your system administrator to display the following MARQ fields:
MARQ Effective Date
MARQ Score
Peer Score
Select a blank balance sheet model and a blank income/expense model. Blank models do not contain accounts. This facilitates importing financial statements from the MARQ repository by creating only those accounts that are present in the imported financial statements.
When you have added a customer from the MARQ repository, the customer's MARQ score appears in the list of search results on the Locator screen.
