Locked Customer File
A padlock symbol 
next to a customer record link means that someone has locked that record. You may open the customer record; however, you will have VIEW and PRINT ONLY access. Lending Cloud will show the name of the user that has locked the customer record. The disappears when that user returns to the Locator Screen.
Check Marked Customer File
When there is a check mark 
symbol next to a customer record link, it is an indication that someone has opened that customer record and clicked the File menu > Check Out Customer. A user will generally do this if they plan to work in that record for an extended period of time. The check mark will not be removed until the user clicks File menu > Check In Customer.
Note: Only designated administrators and supervisors can change the status of checked out or locked customer records on the Locator Screen. Click File menu > Change Customer Status .
