Adding A Balance Sheet

On the main Balance Sheet screen, click the Add / Modify / Delete link at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Enter a balance sheet date by typing the data directly or by using the clickable calendar button. 
  2. Enter a description (usually the year the data will represent -- FYE XXXX).
     
  3. Click the Add button to add the date to the list.
  4. Click the View link in the list to enter the balance sheet summary screen. Its features are described below.
  5. Do one of the following:

View Trends Button

Click the View Trends button to view the Balance Sheet Trends screen. The red asterisk next to the View link in the list denotes the year you are currently working on.

Copy Default Titles Link

Click the Copy Default Titles link to copy additional data categories from the Defaults area of Lending Cloud. Copy the default titles if your system administrator instructs you to do so.

Duplicate Link

The Duplicate link allows you to duplicate the data for that year to help save you time. The duplicate year appears directly under the parent year.

Lock Link

The Lock link allows you to prevent other users from making modifications to that particular year's data. The name of the user and the date the lock was applied will display in red at the top center of the balance sheet when a locked balance sheet is accessed. This feature simply disables the "Save" feature on the balance sheet. After you click on the Lock link, it automatically shows Unlock and you simply click on that link to unlock the balance sheet again when ready.

Track Link

The Track Link tracks the Lock/Unlock feature to see who has locked the balance sheet.

Deleting a Balance Sheet

Click the check box to the left of a balance sheet in the list and click the icon to delete it.
